Atomic - Red Car

Atomic takes manifestation to a whole new level by immortalizing her desire and longing in her latest number in Red Car. The track is a groove inducer through and through. The artist started off writing at a young age. Gives her the experience to give us a number to blast through our car speakers as we cruise through a highway or life in general. She seems to be her own fairy godmother. Taking her heartbreak and adds a little fairy dust and poof; we have a hit on our hands.  The singer, songwriter has a unique style that oscillates between Lofi and pop. She also seems to have a flare for drama and poetry. Her style of performance and writing is similar to that of Halsey. She captures moments within the perfect metaphors in her writing. She goes on to embellish it with the perfect notes, which are punctuated by her experimentation with synth. The tapestry she offers with Red Car is one of a kind in the sense that she has her own style of punctuating emotions through production and her performance as well.  This ability to encapsulate emotions in the most perfect jars is similar to Valerie Faris. She catches an overactive imagination in film format in Ruby Sparks. Both the song and film battle between the idea of giving up and manifestation and desire. Either way, Atomic has given us a slice of her imagination. She has effectively painted our minds red with the possibility and hope that come with pining after the wrong person. The fact that she has managed to put the clumsy desire to want to be seen and to see an ex-lover into sonic form is marvellous.  Follow her in the links attached above to keep track of this phenomenal talent.
