The House Flies - Derelict Crawl

The House Flies bring garage rock grit and shoegaze haze together on “Derelict Crawl,” creating a restless track that feels both raw and atmospheric. Saturated guitar tones drive the song with a gritty edge, while washed out modulated synth pads add a hazy layer beneath the distortion. The carefully crafted stereo field gives the arrangement plenty of movement, allowing each texture to occupy its own space without losing the track’s punch. The song carries the rebellious energy of the 2000s indie music scene, recalling the uneasy youth culture of films like The Chum scrubber.
