Occupation:Baby-Lights
Occupation:Baby can hit you with waves of emotions with his melodies. It might be the lyrics, it might be how he stitches together lucid melodies to form a story. Whatever the magic might be, I don’t want to know the trick. I want to be a part of the flow, and it might be easy for you as well. This is his latest single, Lights. We look for them when we want guidance. Positivity is its metaphor. If a song's lyrics were to make a poetic cocoon to live in, Occupation:Baby has done so. The symphonies created have an aesthetic breeze about it, almost colouring the sky blue again. The resonance of the instrument layers are impressive, complementing vocals with aplomb. It is a miracle to hear an artist try and think about the emotive aspect of the song and sharpen the edges to such detail. The percussions come in after a beat, so that the vocals stay with you. By the time you hum the chorus chord progression, the verse comes in. It is an otherworldy experience with headphones on, as the pulsating waves gently tap cerebral ecstasy. Here, Occupation:Baby ensures that the rhythm is the same as your heartbeat-we all feel the love from music as one. You must also check out other singles like Scissors and All Damn Night for the versatile depth of this artists work. This would be great in the movie Turtles All the Way Down (2024). The track would create some amazing transition pockets for the emotional parts of the movie. Listen to the track above and follow the artist for more like this!
