Emma Dilemma - Bed All Day
Emma Dilemma refuses to be put into a box and her music resonates with that exact thought in Bed All Day, her latest release. This track might fall into the pop genre but there is something so unique, quirky and edgy about it. She is unabashedly herself and it is truly inspiring. This candy cane- rebellious spirit gives off Pink in the early 2000s energy. Emma doesn't necessarily give us a picture through her words but rather allows us to imagine the details of our own music video to her song. This shows you just how versatile she is as an artist. The track begins with a rhythmic party horn sound and before we know it, Emma blasts through our speakers and makes her grand entrance. She has already set the tone for us in just under 30 seconds of the song and she has us in the palm of her hands. Emma gives us new textures in her song to bounce off of. This track would work brilliantly in the film- The DUFF. Specifically in the scene where she decides to wear pajamas to school. There is this saying that about how the audacity of individuality is infectious and that is what Emma brings to the table, a unique individuality in her music. Emma Dilemma already has over 40,000 plays on her music. I can’t wait to see what she releases next and how she will surprise in the future.
