Richard Green-The Circle Closes
Richard Green designs the soundscapes of your mind with great vigour and style. The Italian composer has tons of experience in crafting the most delicate, melodic and gentle arrangements. From his 2020 single Dark Horses, his music has come a long way, with a lot of collaborations. This is his latest EP, The Circle Closes. With Irene Veneziano and Archimia, Richard Green fabricates something elegant with simplicity. It almost resembles the circle of life, but with simple structure. I don’t mean this in melody, but in how well they return to incipience. It is the formulation by a master of his work that can enable that to happen. A Place Called Home enables you to have a mixed melancholy about the melody and structure. It has a very joyous, rich arrangement, when all the instruments form a waltz like rhythm. Strings dominate the sound, while the piano is at a play with the kind of movements you hear. The rising energy is assisted with A Legacy, a flowing and exciting number, with a lot of parallel melodies to listen to. If you’re listening on headphones (which I hope you are), it is important to hear the distinction in the instruments and different tenors you get to experience. This is something only a maestro at their art form can accomplish with such ease. Richard Green gives you a softer, sullen rhythm with Your Angel. It has the pain, the pleasure and flutter of new dynamics. It is another incredible number where each instrument gets its moment under the sun, and then aids the act for the breathing time. If you were observing how the drama retracts, it is interesting to see the ballet of performances coming together with such a unique frequency. He closes the EP with Natural Circle. It not only has the quicker tempo to give the dose of excitement, but perfects the dramatisation with class and panache. Richard Green is a composer that transcends language, melodic barriers to make something lasting. A legacy, like he composed. There are a lot of effective parcels of notes which you can find in “popular” music, but is his way to connect with the audience while being completely invested in the song. Although his music is designed for a very specific kind of screen-this would be a great fit in a movie title of the same name. It would be a tale about life instances that hold great importance in lives of humans. Richard is the quintessential experience crafter, and there is a lot to learn from his music.
