Fishburn - Take It Away
Fishburn writes songs that can open the floodgates of your heart, and his latest release, Take it Away, is a gem like no other. He is a musician, producer and DJ who uses his music as a means to praise Jesus. It seems that faith and submission to it are at the core of his heart. The influence of the church and the chorus-like music he produces is easily recognisable. You don’t come across a DJ who creates to praise the Lord, and what a unique path it is. Take It Away is a devotee's plea to lift the struggle and sadness from the heart. The track is smooth and gentle in spirit, with the music backing. The vocals and the lyrics do their due diligence in moving you entirely. The track begins like a lullaby, as though it is an attempt to comfort a lonely person. On the flip side, the song also reminds you that you are not alone, that there is always a listening ear no matter where you are. Fishburn does a great job in song arrangement; the track ebbs and flows like a dream that gently holds you while you seek comfort. I chased something that wouldn’t last, is the line that will keep you coming back to the song. The Two Popes is a film that really bent the rules of filming about religion in all ways. Musically, they have some of the newest choices, and Take It Away would fit in seamlessly. Fishburn is a one-of-a-kind musician who paints pictures with sound; be sure to check his work out through the links attached below.
