Rooftop Screamers-Souvenirs
Rooftop Screamers originated as a passion project. A master of one instrument turned to storytelling, and there were many stories to tell. The memories we take with us last forever, and Portland origin drummer Michael Collins wanted to make some more. As memorable and impactful as a Def Leppard song, here is Souvenirs. The song is in collaboration with Randy McStine. Rooftop Screamers is a reminder that retro rock isn’t just a phase, its a class apart. From the moment the song starts, melody is king, and everything revolves around this. Lyrical impact will bring tears to your eyes, as you remember the times these parts revolved around you. When he gets to the chorus, Michael brings that memorable hook all around for you to sing. It is a simple cascade, one which you don’t even have to listen to the song the second time for. It is the kind of music that makes you impassioned for the entire experience. Not the one you have with others, the one you experience alone, internally. It is a shower of gratitude, positivity at a time when you need it and immaculately performed. Rooftop Screamers have other songs like Another Life, and an incredible album called Next Level. It is the kind of music that the classic music buffs love, and the kids now get to experience first hand. The talented drummer has established himself more than he ever could as a songwriter, and music like this is lasting proof. This would be a great song on the movie Peanut Butter Falcon (2019) This combines legacy, with his own personal wisdom to make something that will last forever. A souvenir, for you to own.
