Proklaim-Love Lavida
Proklaim has had the unique privilege of scripting his own history. His legacy in the indie hip-hop scene is unmatched. In over 2 years, he has written close to a 100+ singles, delivered them with the utmost dedication and sense of rhythm. I remain convinced that this is in his blood and bones-flowing through his veins. This one is called Love Lavida. From opening his songs with bars, here he goes melodic. Proklaim is having a balance in limbo, playing with fire and realising how good he is at it. The R&B opening features as a great backdrop for what is to come. LSD and Bitter Sweet have already been out for this year, and Love Lavida sees him use a whole new flow. He moves deftly, quickly, to almost wrap up the punches. He asks for more, but gives it himself. The song has a great bounce to it, watching over Proklaim writing some sharp lyrics. He has moved from genre to genre, to have this become second nature in a way. An exciting new vein of music, where he reigns supreme once more. This would be a great balance of music in a movie like Project X (2012). It is a scene carrying, scintillating piece of music that the party in the movie needs. Proklaim is once again at his natural best. With just 2 months or so in, he has already made and released 3 songs. It is no wonder, he will write his destiny with blood of the worthy.
