Pavilion Rd-Honey
Pavilion Rd know how to take you down a lane you fall in love with. From Cardiff, Wales, the band has supercharged their brand of rock for you to breathe in at once. It is the kind of music that makes somber pub rock a stomping rock epiphany. This is their latest single that puts another number on the list. This one is called Honey. Their raw take is something you can observe right away. The band opens with a thick, punchy bassline and radio styled vocals. You can latch into the tempo almost instantly, and wait for the verse to crash in. The percussion is hi-hat play for some time, before the catchy verse opens up the song. It is that feel good rock your hips will remember the next day. Pavilion Rd reminded me of The Wombats, who have blistering, good time energy through the set. Honey is their memorable sticky groove, just like their song title suggests. Jordi Davies outperforms himself as frontman and bassist, while the rhythm is ironed out by Sam Baker and Ben Broster. Lewis Free gives us some great ambience on the keys in moments, and adds to the scrumptious calorie count of this song. You can follow Pavilion Rd for more music like this and to spice up your playlist. This would be a great addition in the movie The Man From Toronto (2022), especially for the gym fight scene. Their singles in Crooked Smiles will be your favourites if you peruse through it. You can check out their single above and follow for more like this!
