Feyleryn - Rhythmic Reverie
Rhythmic Reverie opens up the sky and devours us into the gates of paradise and Feyleryn is the captain of the ship that takes us there. The singer-producer creates a genre of his own each time releases a song and this time the fun wheel has landed on out of this world. This song has elements of electronic, classical, folk, avant-garde and ethereal tucked away in it. He gives us a tune that is unique and impactful wordlessly. The music on this track is otherworldly, it feels like the tunes of our ancestors might be buried somewhere deep in this song if we listen close enough. This speaks miles about the stories that Feyleryn’s set out to tell in the track. The track is layered with such rich tunes, it is where history meets electronic music if you ask me. She created this play from the interviews she collected from a generation of schoolgoers over the course of five years in the UK. The lighting and the music have us anchored and invested in this flowing play. We have the privilege of being born in the same generation as Feyleryn and witnessing is charismatic music.
