Darren Deschaine-Tessellate

Darren Deschaine is ready to take you on a journey through the fractured entities of time. The talented musician has returned with an album that can only be explained as visionary. From shreds to ambient thought slices, you’re entitled to everything the moment you press play. This one is called Tessellate.  In this album, Darren Deschaine goes all out. In his journey to craft something that resonates with this powerful theme, he discovers new lands between his fretboard markers. There are dividends within that are truly admirable, as he puts across his songs as the power-packed evocative numbers that they are. The album begins with Equinox, where not only he teases immaculate tone, but a composition that depicts the image at hand. It is something that resonates powerfully, while having a narrative neatly embedded into the song. With Flash Puppet, he challenges himself like never before. Picking high tempo, extreme octave songs, there is a lot to marathon over on the scales. He makes it soulful, while ascending and descending at lightning speeds. A meaty, dark riff is delivered, having the sludgy doom factor while having Darren Deschaine design its output to be volatile and unpredictable.  Server.exe has some reverberating styles of sound, with a slower aural canvas to work with. Darren plays with fractions of time to see how his thinking and compositions vary. In this exercise, he finds blankets of sound for ambience, while detailing the spaces with embroidered shreds as well. Metal tornadoes form with his single Brain of Theseus.  He replaces parts of the original with some superb aspects that will melt your cranium. Darren Deschaine composes his very best here, while having the time of his life knowing that as time passes, he learns more and applies those learnings in his music. Very less is known about the author of these sonic stories, yet it is thrilling to listen to and predict where his music will go.  Tessellate has some tonal experimentation, along with the ominous embellishments of the theme that controls it all. This is how the title came about, and it is a titular track indeed. The song sees Darren deviating and returning to the path with artistic certainty. From 2023s Unravel, we have heard some discoveries from him that cannot be explained in words. Just like his music, the power lies in the notes he chooses.  He also leans into electronic expositions with Sabbath. All in all, you’re receiving an album that you cannot put into words truly. Trust me, I had all this opportunity. It is an amalgam of feelings, skill and an ability to communicate through music. Listen to the album above and follow Darren for more! This is the kind of album that would sound impressive in Cobra Kai, the latest season that just got updated on Netflix. Check it out and follow for more!
