Henry Barthes
Barthes loves correcting student essays while playing his favorite records, thrifted from a corner second-hand vinyl shop in his neighborhood. He believes every little incident in his life has a cinematic parallel and, therefore, deserves a movie background score. He’s obsessed with unsung pieces that never made it to playlists and love songs that never got replies. His Spotify Top Song for years has been Nicholas Britell’s The Children of Our Age. During the day, he writes odes to forgotten ballads; at night, he smokes to NFAK records. Somewhere between heartbreak and headphones, he has found his purpose.
