Solarrio-Forever
Solarrio has had quite an experience as a human being. Born in Paris to Russian and Argentinian parents, he has then lived in several countries that have shown him a perspective unlike no other. Evidently, this bleeds into his music to make some of the most eclectic cocktail of elements we have heard. This is his latest romantic single, Forever. A steady, rich beat follows Solarrio for this song. The amount of layers he opens the single with are incredible, like a neo Kenny G vibe. You can already hear the feel of the percussion before the vocals come in. Though there is this synth soaked filter on Solarrio's vocals, you can still feel the emo essence of the track in his voice. Some chord changes change softly, though Solarrio does do his part in making much smoother transitions internally. The vocal pattern carries a 2-5-2 kind of rhythm, which plays with the standard tempo the song uses. It is a sweet, romantic love song that really brings out the story of the spirit and his ability to romanticise eternality. A gorgeous single, performed with real heart. His singles like Started This Yet and NLF have been highlights for me, but it all revolves around how he constructs his thoughts behind the song. The Lovebirds (2020) would be a great movie to have this song in, there are a lot of thematic parallels to enjoy as well. Listen to the single above and follow Solarrio for more!
