Currently, the main one seems to be that of a star. The singer-songwriter has written songs on many themes previously, from heartbreak to wars; she does not hold back on her expression. While she tackles all these themes, she seems to be doing this with the panache of an absolute star. So buckle up when you hit the play button because it is a techno ride into a whole new world. The song is a techno-pop number that slowly eases you into Kelsie’s world. She sings about missing and being obsessed with her lover, who seems to be away/has left her. The track has a laid-back attitude in general; the drawn-out bars and rhythm patterns make for elaborate theatrical elements that spice up the song! All this, paired with Kelsie’s vocals, is truly a gift that's waiting to be unwrapped. The track has exquisite production quality; it's smooth, laid-back and not in any rush to prove a point. A track like this definitely deserves to be in a series like Lizzie McGuire; the series was a staple and has its own fan base. Her voice does resemble Hilary Duff’s! One icon deserves the other. Kelsie Kimberlin is a force to be reckoned with in the music industry; she is raw, talented and is consistent.
