This is her latest single, called Greensleeves. The track has been famous for aeons now. I have heard several versions of the track, but Irian Darkwood would have her own take. The rock, swinging version of the song leaves a very different feel in the brain. It is exciting, tantalising and most importantly induces nostalgia. The project from Canada has put a lot of effort in bringing the rock theme to its genuine stature with this style. From hard rock to heavy metal, Carol is able to traverse any waters with ease. In this composition, she stretches herself as a talented vocalist, opening with a blood-curdling scream and on to the verse. The vocals shift views from the age-old lyrics to a contemporary vision, which Irian Darkwood matches with her feral energy. It is an incredible song, where her vocals rightfully stand out and enjoy the lime-washed spotlight. Known for her debut single called Lost Heart, her second track has all that she has to show in skill and more.
