Alexia Vegas - Feel This Way
Alexia Vegas has done it again, she has surprised us again with her latest release- Feel This Way, a chart topper and heart stopper of a track. Feel This Way has her signature eerie touch with which she weaves an ocean of notes together. What sets the track apart is the synth-pop elements that rush at you and grab your attention. Alexia folds fear and insecurity into this lyrical ballad. She does this with so much grace that it has you hitting the replay button. The track starts off mellow with a key section, easing us into the world that Alexia builds, brick by brick. The piano sets a smokey background as Alexia’s haunting voice makes an entrance. She sings about the insecurity that comes with love. Both the backing and Alexia’s voice are incredibly fluid, it ebbs and flows. While the track gushes with this fluidity, Alexia magically floats above the backing. There is a quality of dread that oozes from her voice and which the track in itself has captured immaculately. This is a sign of incredible production, each note beaded together with so much care. There is a quality to the song that makes you feel that Alexia’s voice is singing from underwater. This track would work brilliantly in the series Bates Hotel. The series takes from Hitchcock’s iconic Psycho and has created a world of its own and not once does not do justice to the original. Alexia Vegas is sure to soon take over the charts as she is quickly gaining listeners, seeing as to how this track already has over 9000 plays on Spotify.
