Suzanne Grzanna - Sunset Dreams
Need a companion for your solitude? Suzanne Grzanna's new single "Sunset Dreams" might just be that friend you are looking for. Known as the Sax Diva, Grzanna's experience as a saxophonist, composer, vocalist and producer all merge into a contemporary jazz record that focuses exclusively on feel-good energy. You can hear elements of jazz and Brazilian samba in the number, which gives this song a light bounce and rhythm that actually wants to make you trip the light fantastic. Although technically jazz, it doesn't feel like an exercise in music theory. The music has a sense of ease and warmth, the very characteristics of summer. I think that kind of makes it live up to its moniker. It feels crafted for moments when the weather is light and breezy and your schedule is empty. Grzanna’s saxophone takes the centre stage, while the samba-inspired touches keep things flowing. The song also combines smooth jazz textures, upbeat rhythms and romantic undertones. In fact, “Sunset Dreams” would slide pretty comfortably into a movie like "La La Land". It just has that charm and vibe. Grzanna is clearly interested in creating music that makes people feel good, and this new single executes that idea from start to finish.
