Bosola-Comfort Disorder
Bosola recreate a pool of emotion and memories with their music. Creating environments with their lyrics and inserting the listener within in, this is alt-rock you have missed for a long time. The band from Newcastle Upon Tyne has delivered some memorable music through the years. This is their latest single that makes a refreshing change of environment. This is called Comfort Disorder. Discomfort would make it too simple. Bosola are a band that like to play with words and synthesised environments. Their music is the epitome of tone and tale, merging the two into one diverse tapestry form. The simple chord changes remind you of the 90s rock element. Bands like The Smashing Pumpkins and The Pixies were known for this unique sound. For this particular song, they dial to an Oasis like filament, burning bright with their unique lyrics. Their expressive pockets of sound travel with you throughout. They also know that lyrics don’t have to be shoved down the ear canal of listeners, there are moments where you’re just enjoying the instrumental pocket before transitioning to the catchy song again. This song is one of their best, along with Me on a Good Day. This song belongs comfortably in a scene where a montage of events shows a budding relationship forming. I was reminded of the long montage of Boyhood (2014), a time restrained masterpiece showing life, love and growth. Listen to Bosola with their latest songs here and follow them for more!
