That is exactly what this album is; he carves out his own language of music and has made sure to punctuate it with some surprising elements. With the way a few portions expand and contract in texture, we believe that it is devouring something or itself after a certain point. I could totally see songs like this in films like Contagion. There might not be life in AI, but latenightbeatfeast seems to add all the life it needs with its production treatment. It is peppered with all sorts of dramatic sensibilities that elicit emotions from us. It is both scary and exciting at the same time.
