Seafarers
Led by songwriter Matthew Herd (Jacob Collier, Glass Animals, The Howl & Hum, Siobhan Miller), Seafarers are a group of sixlong-term musical collaborators, who span the worlds of indie rock, chamber pop, and jazz. The band was formed in 2018 torecord their debut album, Orlando. Drawing acclaim from many international sources, the band returned three years later withtheir second album, II, a record that explores the bittersweet depths of teenager-dom. Other members include vocalistLauren Kinsella (Kit Downes, Snowpoet), guitarist & vocalist Arun Thavasothy, pianist Tom Taylor, bassist Tom McCredie anddrummer Dave Hamblett. Their yet-to-be announced third album is coming in October.
