Repeat
Repeat is a newly formed stoner/alt-rock band from Sweden. The band was founded by Torbjörn Hallberg, Stockholm-based guitarist and vocalist, and Johan Holmberg (Liberator, King Squid). Having known each other since early high school, playing in various local punk, ska and rock bands, they joined forces in their mutual love for stiff drums and fuzzy guitars. In 2023 the band decided to record some of their recent tracks for a debut album (Repeat) and bass player Mattias Belin was brought in to join the band. The music was recorded analogue and live by Joakim Lindberg (Solen, FEWs) in Sickan Studios Malmö Sweden, with the tall windows overlooking an abandoned old railway yard. The album was mastered in Redmount Studios by Magnus Lindberg (Hellacopters, Refused). Repeat explodes with short songs, repetitive riffs and lyrics, loud fuzzy guitars, rumbling bass, and aggressive drums. Enjoy!
