Besides classical music, there was also a lot of pop and soul. My mother loved the Carpenters and Tom Jones.“ This love affair has since blossomed into a lifelong passion, punctuated by a journey through piano lessons, choir singing, and an insatiable curiosity for dissecting the musical mysteries of his idols. A detour into Audio Engineering in Düsseldorf, Germany, led Cris Cap to a parallel career as a freelance TV director. Amidst this, he continued to grace stages across Europe with a funky Disco-Soul Band, grooving to the classics of Stevie Wonder, Jamiroquai, and the Bee Gees./ These experiences enriched his understanding of songwriting and arrangement, ensuring that/ his roots in soul and funk remained firmly grounded. 2020 marked a pivotal moment as Cris Cap resolved to share his music with a broader audience.
