Beatdenker is Jo Wespel on guitar synthesizer and FX, finger drumming on MPC and instant arranging and composing on Loop-Station as a live artist and on reaper (DAW) and midi keys as a producer. He started to select different stomp boxes 2007 during my jazz guitar studies in Dresden, 2011 there came the Boss RC 505 Loop-Station and in 2013 his MPC500, where he put his first drum samples. He then started my “band” or solo project Beatdenker in Dresden, Germany.

He has played in the Fusion Festival Lärz, Red Light Radio Amsterdam/NL, What is Music Festival Burgos/E, Jazzfestival Leipzig, Jazzfestival Freiburg, KIM Festival Berlin, Schmiede Playground Salzburg/AT, SeaNaps Festival Leipzig, SURfF Festival Berlin, LoFi Playground Festival Amsterdam/NL, Rudolstadt Festival, Jazzkollektiv Nights Berlin, Bandstand Festival Hellerau, BRN Festival Dresden, SampleMusicFestival Berlin.
