It might have been long since you heard some electronic experimental music. Not only is it rare, I think this is the first time you’ll be experiencing this. Beatdenker is much more than an artist, he is a beat manufacturer and connoisseur. Here we look at his album Ethic Endless Fun, that will be releasing on the 27th of January 2023. Let this be the best start to your year.
With just the intro track, he has put in a capsule what you might be able to experience with an album of this sort. There are jazz overflows, hip-hop undertones and beat chemistry. Complex to explain, doubly to execute, I’m sure.
Do I Also Need a Name Now, Haha is the second track. It has some explosive, odd time drops that make it difficult to follow but exciting to listen to. If the gold is at the end of the rainbow, you better travel it on his terms. Beatdenker executes some digital sorcery with strange overlaps and technical magic on this track.
No, You Will Get an Ice-Cream Today is a catchy swing, a beat that is easier to follow. There is an oriental touch to the tones and lead, which diversifies into more vivid and varied digital interfaces. It is intriguing to follow each thread to the resultant and understand the whole as a vibe. And A Frozen Margarita For Me, Please brings his fascination for odd time melodies to a complete circle. Beatdenker is making a phantasmagorical metaverse of sound for us to explore, and there is nothing to restrict the train of thought.
I Go Sliding With My Favourite Penguins is a portal to another globe. It has a fun, quirky sound with the synth playing with other elements, almost a Mr Poppers Penguins digital abstraction. It explores the full range of sound and effects, as the beat maestro creates his little universe with pride. Yeah Do Cool’n’fun Stuff, Just Stay Ethical has some very cool effects executed as per order from Beatdenker. But Can I Play With the Robots Again creates an I, Robot language typology to study, and communicate in. Once again, the shifts and plays in the track are something to behold and experience.
Hey Mom, I Do A Space Trip, Be Back Around 3pm is what a time machine would sound like in transport. It has all the modulation and creative layering to project the several dimensions to be transported in a jiffy. OK, I’ll Check the Time Machine and Some More Beats brings some steampunk sound from Beatdenker. It has references to sound ages, and creates its own, within the funnel of sound travel. Don’t Worry, The Next Album Will Be Out Soon experiments with Indian tabla beats, creating an array of sounds that usually wouldn’t be imagined together.
With this scientific cryo-pod he has created, I’m sure this artist is either ahead of his time or has a link to time travel, truly. The sounds he creates are not for everyone, but I encourage everyone to experience them for what they are. I guarantee it, you will probably never hear anything like this unless he comes out with the next album.
