Sunrise in Jupiter - TAKE ME HOME

Sunrise in Jupiter goes the nostalgic route with their second single, TAKE ME HOME. It is a cinematic rock song that is exciting with a touch of bittersweet. With its dramatic singing and almost aggressive drums, it should feel like it's too much, but the track balances its sound perfectly. The start with the electric guitar immediately makes you feel sentimental. With a chord progression that is so satisfying, it had me excited as soon as the song began. The bass, played by George Cook, caught my attention on the second listen and is now my favourite part of the song. With the clever riffs that I did not expect, it kept my attention throughout. Sonny delivers a dramatic vocal performance. His voice is beautifully expressive, and he makes it look so easy. He is the perfect narrator. This would fit right into a coming-of-age story where the characters go on a night drive. travelling towards the adventure. I can see myself with the wind in my hair as the scenery changes around me. When the layered chanting in the bridge comes in, it feels like the perfect culmination to the song. I love bridges for exactly this reason. They always succeed in becoming the heart of the song, everything coming together just before it ends. Sunrise in Jupiter aims to make their debut double album, Mission to Mars, a cinematic journey. By creating immersive soundscapes, they want to build a world of their own. And I'm excited to experience what they've created.
