Rick Lee Vinson Group honours the class of country rock that seems to be bygone. However, the band has a lasting impact and a torch-bearer as their frontman. It is the delivery, the lyrics and most importantly, the songs aesthetic that makes them so exciting. This is their latest single, The Ballad of Stuff That Never Broke My Heart. One thing the group never has to worry about is having similar titles to other artists. The spectrum of thinking, creating music seems to be unique and particular to designed circumstances. The rock flow exists in harmony with these lyrics, the kind of catchy music that people used to love listening to on the radio. Though the melodies are familiar country rock, it is his delivery which is so damn catchy. The songs feel like experiences, or a thread of him having lived that moment. Rick Lee Vinson Group makes the pub crawl a hit stomp, and the music deserves all the credit. The band gives its usual frills and melodic harmonies that spice up the track. In all these years, the band seems to have totally mastered tones and creative flows to make something memorable. A fun, groovy tune with lyrics that will get you over the moon.
