Porter gives you action packed addictive rock. They have been in the game far enough to know how the gears run. Their lyrics don’t shy away from the truth, there is a game that we’re all playing. They checked the people who write the rules. Let’s smoke them out of their Tax Free Hollows. Some truths are irritating and uncomfortable. Knowing that the rich worry about their caviar stained white shirts. The fact that white leather will reflect the piece of shit you are. Porter know all this too, they just make a stellar rock song out of it. Lyrically, this hard rock gem gives elements-phrases and gems of wisdom that connect in your mind. It is a perfect single, time signatures leaping from side to side. The chorus is an explosion of another kind, giving a slice of justice to the stylish riff. Though no shameless nitwit who has escaped deserves this as their theme track, Porter are just throwing facts in front of the screen. Stop getting distracted, prepare the cutlery to eat the rich. The tones and structure on that solo? *Chef’s kiss* Porter have immensely well crafted albums like Damocies and Wolkenstein for you to check out. Each album tells a complete story, so make sure you go from end to end.
