Taylor Swift is of course the master of diaristic storytelling these days, so she’s in too. I love Lana, too, and draw from her in my more “poemy” songs. Could you walk us through your process of composition and production?Well, I wrote the song on acoustic guitar, and the rest is basically a result of just playing around on Ableton until I found a nice vibe. Which I didn’t, so much. And then my brother (Ian of FUTURE BABY) had to try to salvage it in the mixing stage. Basically, the good parts can be credited to him, and the flaws can be credited to me! What's Next? After your critically acclaimed debut single that has won the hearts of millions, can fans expect a full-length record soon?Ha, that’s being a little bit generous! But I do have another single release planned for this week or next, it’s just being mastered now. After that, I’m going to just put out an EP of a bunch of older songs, then possibly do that again until I’m left just with the ones I want on my album. What are your future plans in terms of touring and live shows?
