Kelsie Kimberlin rallies up every individual with her electrifying new release Armageddon ignites the fires of social justice. Kelsie is known to create some amazing work that is rooted in fun but for the past year, she has taken a turn with her songwriting. She is getting a lot more personal and vulnerable in her writing. And the theme that seems to be running through her mind right now is the political environment of the world. 

Armageddon is filled with everything that gets your heart racing with a sense of determination. She hurls us into the world in her head which results in a whirlwind of a sonic experience. There is also a warped sense that the song begins with that builds to the grandeur of the track. My god, the layering in the song! Perfection. There are bits and pieces when the choir comes in only adding to the cinematic effect. The song is everything, it is an assertion, it’s challenging the status quo and she is literally ready for battle in this song. 

I truly believe that this song would work beautifully in V for Vendetta. V for Vendetta is one of those films that challenges the status quo in the real sense.
