Vargen

Vargen (translates as "The Wolf") is the stage and recording name of Swedish singer songwriter Reine Johansson. The album debut Sånger från natten, sånger från Dan (2017) featured new music set to Swedish author Dan Andersson's (1888-1920) darker poems. The videos for Tjuvskytten and Visa vid Varma källorna were filmed in the Swedish wilderness and gained viral success in Sweden, the latter topped at #1 at Swedish Musikvideotoppen in October 2018. His two following albums of Bob Dylan translations and covers, Tänk Inte Efter – Bob Dylan På Svenska (2019) and Love / Leave - 11 Songs of Bob Dylan (2020), were praised both by the Indie press and Dylan community. Mindy Morning (2022) was the first single from Vargen’s debut album of original songs in English. The track has in short time become Vargen’s most streamed song on Spotify (currently >400K and counting) and has been frequently played on Indie radio and on Swedish radio.
