Wake The Bones is the debut album from Valkyrie’s Bard, created over two years of bearing witness to Gaza's ongoing genocide. Blending electro-pop production with raw, literary lyrics, the album traces an emotional arc from grief to resistance. Drawing on classical piano training and music composition, Valkyrie’s Bard uses modern production tools to realize a vision of music that refuses to look away. The result is eight tracks that move from searching for the dead through rubble ('Beneath the Stones') to collective uprising ('Break the Crown'), with the devastating centerpiece 'Little Bird' - a mother's lullaby that becomes an elegy.
