The Levy Circus
The band, The Levy Circus have been together for about 10 years and there are different permutations and combinations within the band that mean there are beautiful overlapping musical connections and previous relationships. Ammar Al-Chalabi (drums) is a famous Professor of Neurology in London, Eddie Giacobbe is bass (currently depping for 60s/70s band Edison Lighthouse) and Oscar Muto (keys, squeezebox and harmonica) teaches music amongst many other previous things. The genre of the band is a fusion of Americana, Melodic Rock / Pop / Country / Folk and is “Stiff meets Stax Records”. The songs are all driven by a strong sense of melody. The Levy/Jones songwriting stable is in rude health and we are wondering where and when we will have the time to record the 20-30 songs that are currently sitting on our phones and ipads. We are late to the party so making up for lost time and really keen to get the music heard and play gigs and festivals to people that might want to hear our music.
