Santa Claws

Greg Aubert has been making his mark on rock with Santa Claws for 10 years, having worked on a wide range of projects in a variety of musical styles, but always with the same passion for authentic, polished rock'n'roll. The first album, "Life is a lie", produced by "Greg GORDON" (RHCP, OASIS, SUPERGRASS...) is a model of organic power and a compendium of what the band has stood for since its beginnings. The single "Two kings one crown", recorded in the Kerwax analog studio, symbolizes the authenticity and organic side that the band has defended since its origins. The Echoes EP is the band's first live recording, produced by Chris Ursot Pourrier (the band's sound engineer) and Greg Aubert. The band is still digging its furrow towards a more polished, timeless rock. The COVID period, fatal to many cultural projects, has not altered the group's desire to offer new music and to perform in front of an ever-present and delighted audience.Today, Santa Claws remains an "indie" band with no tour manager, label or producer. The band exists thanks to its fanbase, which grows after each concert. To date, the new line-up, still led by Greg Aubert and Antoine Montgaudon, is preparing an album exploring new musical aesthetics in the heritage of The Beatles, The Who, The Breeders, Brian Jonestown Massacre, Radiohead and Ride. Sometimes stoner, sometimes melodic pop and rock'n'roll, Santa Claws are a band in search of authenticity and respect for the powerful sound for which they are still renowned. The new album will do just that.
