ROSETTA WEST

Rosetta West is a blues rock band from Illinois. Their music frequently includes elements of psychedelia and world folk music, and their lyrical themes often venture into mysticism and spirituality. Founder and songwriter Joseph Demagore handles vocals, guitars, and keyboards. Jason X plays bass and keyboards, and was co-producer and sound engineer for the Labyrinth album, Night's Cross album, and intervening singles. Joe and Jay both play percussion, along with drummer Nathan Q. Scratch, who refuses to be photographed. With the exception of a one-off release with Alive Records, Rosetta West has maintained a long, unconventional and fiercely independent underground career. They have fans around the world, and their many releases are well worth seeking out. Check Bandcamp, YouTube, and other platforms for these rare treasures. Wealthy patrons are welcome.
