Peter Xifaras
Recognized for his prowess as a composer, guitarist, and producer, Peter is an award winning recipient of the American Prize, TELLY, and Accolade Film Humanitarian award for compositions championing social change. He has also received Gold in the Debussy, Schubert, Couperin, Satie, Reinecke, and Couperin international music competitions for his orchestral projects ‘CHILDREN OF CONFLICT’ and ‘DYSTOPIAN WORLD’, both recorded with the Czech National Symphony Orchestra. Peter's THIRD STREAM jazz recording, ‘ADAGIO GROOVES’ , was awarded First Prize in the Mozart International Music Competition and was performed with the Budapest Symphony Orchestra. As a GRAMMY® voter and member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, Peter has received several nominations from Hollywood Music in Media and Hollywood Independent Music awards. Peter's music has been programmed on hundreds of radio stations including SiriusXM and has crowned the summits of Billboard's Classical and Crossover charts. Peter's compositions have magnetized a diverse array of accomplished guest artists who frequently enrich his releases. Not content with one sphere, he continues to write classical, cinematic, jazz and contemporary works and is poised to score the next feature-film production by JawDoc Productions.
