Oxiroma
"Oxiroma" is a pseudonym for an author who combines several creative facets: composer, arranger, sound designer, video editor. Has been playing music since the age of 12. In the past, trumpeter of the big band. Since 1998 he has been actively working in the studio with various musicians, making arrangements, producing recordings of numerous vocalists, organizing performances by artists, and releasing CD compilations of various performers. Someone classifies Oxiroma work as a "New Age" genre, someone classifies it as a "Neo-classic", but the author tends to characterize his works as soundtracks for non-existent films. After all, as many different scenarios, situations or scenes in a movie exist, there can be as many different moods in music. The genre (or style) "Soundtrack" allows you to think more freely and broadly, without being tied to the canons of academic harmonies or to a certain palette of sounds and instruments. The main thing is the narration, the musical story, the sound novel that takes the listener to a fictional fantasy world in which everyone will hear their own personal story. When, at the age of 12, as a teenager, I earned my first fee of 10 dollars playing the trumpet and proudly brought it home, my mother said that music should be given to people for free, and suggested transferring these funds to the Peace Foundation account to help children in Africa. Since then I have been composing and simply giving music. I decided for myself that the «Oxiroma» project would be an experiment that would not finance promotion, but would attract attention solely through the music itself. In previous pop projects, I had experience in paid placement of videos on television and radio, and this was a business approach with concert activities in cities and countries. But this time I/ want to change spiritually and respect myself not for purchased advertising. If I can ever create a track that people like, then everything will happen naturally. And if I can’t, then I don’t deserve attention. Music for music's sake!
