Nate Silas
Raised on beautiful Vancouver Island, Canada, Nate Silas is now based in England and has travelled to many places in Europe, North America and Asia. Nate grew up listening to a great many genres from 60s rock and roll, New Wave, folk songs of the British Isles and Eastern Canada and the pop-punk of the early 2000s. He took those his favourite bits from all of those influences, mixed them together in a cauldron and came up with the music you hear today. Nate's songs are heavily lyrical, inspired by gorgeous landscapes, memorable people and abstract ideas. Some of his songs deal with themes of sadness and loss but there is always an optimism and a silver lining to found within them. Nate is a recording artist and a performer and his live shows are full of fascinating facts, humorous anecdotes and improvised banter with the crowd.
