Markus Murphy
Markus Murphy is a dream-funk producer and musician based in Montreal, Canada. He leads a band of jazz demons in a collective quest to deliver top-shelf records. In this role, Markus composes, produces and performs his music, supported both in studio and on stage by his band members and session musicians. Markus Murphy has been chasing illusive sounds and musical textures for a lifetime, having been a songwriter, performer and recording artist since his early teens. He is heavily inspired by timeless artists such as Brian Wilson, Roy Orbison and Marvin Gaye as well as modern artists like Tame Impala, Thundercat and Durand Jones and the Indications.
