Kamila Csenge
Kamila Csenge began her musical journey after graduating from high school in Nový Jičín. She went on to study acoustic guitar at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory in Prague, where she focused on classical and Latin music. She later continued at the same conservatory in a professional diploma program in electric guitar, specializing in jazz. In 2017, she graduated with highest honors from Berklee College of Music in Boston, majoring in Guitar Performance. She earned placement on the Dean’s List every semester and received the John LaPorta Award for outstanding achievement in Guitar Performance. She has performed extensively in ensembles ranging from duos and trios to full bands, appearing in respected concert halls and jazz venues across New York, Boston, Berlin, and the Czech Republic. Notable venues and events include Williamsburg Music Center, Shrine, ShapeShifter Lab, Hybernia Theatre, the New England Guitar Festival, the International Festival of Concert Melodrama, Ryles Jazz Club, and the Prague Congress Center. Her media appearances include performances for the live TV program Terra Musika in Prague, Bohemian TV, and a recorded musical advertisement for the magazine Reflex. From October 2014 to February 2015, she worked as a guitarist aboard the TUI Cruises vessel Mein Schiff 2.
