Jeff Monk
Jeff Monk is an independent country/rock artist based in Texas. He has been performing music for over 25 years, and recently made the decision to write and record his first album, Echoes, which is set for release on November 10, 2023. There are no frills in Jeff's writing style. The lyrics are clear and hard hitting, and the powerful arrangements set the tone for the emotive messages in his songs. For his new album, Echoes, Jeff worked with 2-time Grammy winning producer, Matt Leigh (known for his work with Willie Nelson, Kenny Chesney, Taylor Swift, Deep Purple, Keb Mo and many more). The music was recorded at the legendary Sound Emporium’s Studio A and vocals were recorded at Starstruck Studios on Music Row in Nashville, TN. This album features a top shelf selection of some of Nashville’s most elite Session Musicians: Tim Galloway(guitar), Mike Hicks(keys), Sam Hunter(guitar), Shaun Richardson(guitar), Kyle May(drums), Matt Leigh(bass & back-ground vocals), Mark Thress (back-ground vocals), Jake Long(back-ground vocals). 100% of proceeds from Jeff's music go directly to The Marine Raider Foundation, an organization that supports veterans and families of the United States Marine Corp's Special Operations Command organization (MARSOC). Jeff has two sons in the USMC which has given him a high-fidelity view of the challenges faced by individuals and families who have sacrificed the most in service to our country.
