Hallaballoo
Hallaballoo is a Minneapolis-based jam/indie collective known for blending improvisational freedom with tightly crafted songwriting. Formed in 2001, the band has played over 500 shows across the U.S., building a loyal following through electrifying live performances and a genre-fluid sound that effortlessly fuses funk, psychedelic rock, classic indie, and modern R&B. The nine-piece lineup—James Gross, Robert Lee, Al Berg, Kyle Primus, David Kittelson, Aaron Short, Max LaRock, Travis Johnston, and Mike Wolfram—draws on each member’s diverse musical roots, creating dynamic, groove-heavy songs shaped by the moment, the room, and the crowd.
