Goetia
Brighton’s very own genre-defying 6-piece, Goetia (pronounced go-ay-sha), thrives on a kaleidoscope of sounds that refuse to be boxed in. With roots dipping into Jazz Fusion, Hip-Hop, Funk, and Alternative Rock, their music is a sonic cocktail that’s as unpredictable as it is irresistible. At the heart of Goetia’s sound lies a collision of influences—each member’s distinct musical palette clashing and converging to create a vibe that’s equal parts tension and flow. This vibrant contrast is best felt in their explosive live shows, where their collective energy becomes downright contagious. As frontman Billy Fox-Coates puts it, Goetia’s mission is to craft music that’s “unexpected yet easily received.” It’s a philosophy that pulses through every note, making their music not just something to hear, but something to experience.
