Melbourne, Australia based electronic singer-songwriter Genevieve Sovereign has had a productive past year and more. Since launching her debut EP “It’s yours.” last March 2022, she has continued exploring various creative avenues and collaboration opportunities – with further singles and other projects slated for fruition across 2023 and beyond. Out 28 April 2023 her latest release “Present Dreams” is the third in an ongoing series of EDM / dream-pop singles co-created with Gold Coast based composer-producer Ben Tenison, and now excitingly adding a new team member too: Seasoned multi-genre mix engineer Dee (Deece) Cowan, also of Melbourne. “Present Dreams” follows tight on the heels of Sovereign and Tenison’s first two collaborative singles “Vibration Angle” (released 11 November 2022) and “Life Soaked Reveal” (released 25 December 2022). Next cab off the rank later in 2023 will be Sovereign's solo piece “Midday Blue” (also being mixed by Deece), an electronic-acoustic hybrid featuring guest performances from among Sovereign's closest Melbourne-based collaborators and friends.
