Finlay Birch is a Scottish singer-songwriter originally from Inverclyde and now based on the Isle of Mull, where his creative spirit has long felt at home. His music blends alternative folk, indie and soft rock, shaped by a reflective writing style and a strong sense of place. Working with producer and long-time best friend Dylan Cooper, Birch’s debut album Weight Will Unwind brings together songs written across nearly a decade, from material first penned eight years ago to songs completed within the past six months.
