Dirty Slippers
Dirty Slippers is a four-member pop-rock band from Budapest. The band quickly became popular, as their first music video “Élned kell” was played on MTV Hungary in 2009. With 3 MAHASZ topcharting LPs, 10 songs on various hit lists, 3 European tours and more than 1,000 live concerts behind them, the band has become one of the most concerted Hungarian bands in recent years. Theytoured with Paul McCartney's favorite band The Coronas, as well as the US rockers, The Last Vegas, performed at famous festivals such as Arad Open Air, warm up before Goran Bregovic. Thei first record was recorded in the USA, and their latest in 2021, as the first Hungarian band, in the legendary Abbey Road Studios, with producers George Shilling (Oasis, Frank Turner), Tim Palmer(U2, Bon Jovi) and Neil Dawes (Ed Sheeran). In November 2022, the band's song “Rendetlen gyerek” topped Spotify's "Dallal Veletek" chart, and DS has more than 1.7 million views on YouTube. Their latest song, "Honest kid”, will debut in February 2023 on English radio stations such as Hide Radio Manchester or Unsigned Radio London.
