Cash Every Denomination
Born and raised in Washington Heights/Dyckman, Cedric “Dr. Cedric” Streeter—better known as C.E.D. (Cash Every Denomination)—found his passion for music at five years old, sitting behind a drum set in the studio with his father, Dr. Arthur Streeter. Growing up during Hip-Hop’s golden era, he was inspired by legends heard on WBLS, shaping his ear for lyricism and beats. Freestyling in high school evolved into songwriting by age 21. Still, his journey briefly shifted in 1994 when a modeling opportunity took him to Stockholm, Sweden, where he appeared in a Telia AB commercial and print campaign. Back in the U.S., C.E.D. worked behind the scenes with Oz Music Group and Roc-A-Fella Records’ street team while continuing to record and perform, battling MCs at SOB’s and performing at BMI showcases in Manhattan. In 2004, he founded Kaos Records, LLC, turning his experience, hustle, and business vision into an independent platform for his music and others. From battle stages to boardrooms, C.E.D. represents Hip-Hop’s entrepreneurial spirit—and the story is still unfolding.
