He has found bio sections irrelevant for the longest time but anyway, Ben Rankin is a 21-year-old Singer/Songwriter from Canberra, Australia who attempts to combine his rock/metal influences with his love for pop artists such as Ed Sheeran and Lewis Capaldi. His 2024 album, Welcome To My House is an amalgamation of these influences, containing high-energy metal tunes down to acoustic ballads. Independent and self-produced, his upcoming album, In Memoriam, displays his more aggressive side. The album's lead single, "Save Your Tears," is an anthem about breaking free from manipulation and societal pressures, and being your own person. His lyrics center around anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues, while still trying to include the occasional love song or two.
