About the Artist – Bastien Pons Bastien Pons explores sound the way he captures images: in black and white, through layers, textures, and contrasts. A photographer and composer trained in musique concrète by Bernard Fort, he crafts a deeply sensory world where noise becomes substance and silence, a space to inhabit. His experimental work blends field recordings, ambient minimalism, and industrial textures to build introspective soundscapes. Inspired by artists like The Residents, Meredith Monk, Art Zoyd, Lustmord, Andy Stott, Coil, Esplendor Geometrico, Murcof, Swans, 2kilos&more, Bastien Pons brings together photography and sound in a personal, textured language. His visual and sonic work form a coherent whole that invites deep listening and visual contemplation. About the Album – Blinded Blinded is Bastien Pons' debut album. Both a sonic and visual experience, it draws a parallel between his black-and-white photographic work and his approach to music. The album is a meditation on perception, blindness (literal and symbolic), and the tactile nature of sound. Each track is built around texture: digital grit, organic noise, harmonic shadows. Recorded and mastered in 2025, Blinded is an immersive journey at the edge of ambient, experimental electronics and musique concrète.
