Alex McArtor
Alex McArtor is a 22 year old, Los Angeles based singer/songwriter. Her previous EPs established her as a young talent to watch and garnered critical acclaim from numerous publications, blogs, and music insiders including Billboard, Spin, Blackbook, FLOOD, Under the Radar, Idolotar, Off the Record, Alternative Press, Chris Douridas (KCRW). She was also named a Taco Bell Feed the Beat Top New Artist. “In the Dark” is my latest release with Grammy Award nominated producer, Benny Cassette. I was inspired to write it after walking around Paris late at night listening to Roxy Music and the Cars. It’s a triumph song about realizing your own self-worth and taking your power back from a situation that’s draining your life force.
