Joyce Tratnyek is a 19-year-old NYC-based singer-songwriter-producer. Writing and performing music has always been a way to overcome her own shyness and sensitivity. These qualities, which once made it hard for her to talk to the other kids on her elementary school playground, are now tools that help her write heartfelt and thoughtful songs. She loves to write songs that tell stories and help people understand both themselves and the world more deeply.
Her music, which is best described as lyrical-ambient-indie rock, captures her feelings and experiences as a young, LGBT+ artist. While she does that she also capture the hearts of young LGBT+ of the world around her. She also records and produces her own music in her basement using Logic Pro, her guitar, and her imagination. In her free time, she loves to procrastinate, pet any cat on the street, stare into space, draw, and paint.
